The Costa Rica red-tail is native to the hot island of Costa Rica. The Rainforest, also known as the Guatemalan red-tail (definitely introduced) spider, is very similar to the typical Mexican red-tail in both body shape and living environment. An adult Costa Rican red-tail can reach a foot span of 15-16 cm.
