Scattered: It is a private species of the state. Currently it is only known to be scattered in southern Anhui such as Nanling, Yixian, Guangde and Jingxian in Anhui.
Characteristics: The carapace is dark brown, with a raised ridge and a flat ridge, with obvious ridges. The plastron is yellow, and the scutellum has basically symmetrical large black spots. The front and back carapace are connected by a tough band, which can be completely connected to the carapace. The head is golden in color, and the sides of the head are slightly yellowish-brown, with two black lines.
Customs: Rest in hilly valleys or pools with clear water, mainly eating animal food, and eating a few plants. The spawning period is July. From the end of August to the beginning of August, it is produced twice, and 2 pieces are often produced.
Maintenance: Gold. The Touguan shell turtle is a rare turtle endemic to China. It was named by Luo Bitao and Zong Yu in 1998 based on the original Anhui Nanling standard. Currently, this turtle is only known to be scattered in a few areas in Anhui Province. Gentle and very popular among turtle lovers, however, due to its desolate population and narrow distribution, long-term poaching and smuggling have brought them to the brink of destruction
