Manchester Terrier is an expert at catching rats. In the very popular rat-catching competition at the end of the 19th century, a dog named Bailey killed 100 rats in a little more than six minutes. There are two types of this dog: one is smaller and has been recognized by the International Canine Category; the other is larger and is considered a giant among terriers. There are many body types, but they are generally divided into standard and toy types.
